Content Translation Training

Nov. 22nd, 2021— the fourth-year students of the Translation Department had a Content Translation Training at the Central Library of Cihan University Erbil. The Training was held under the supervision of Lecturer Suhair Al-Fares.

During the training, the students were divided into seven pairs and they went online to different websites and translated the pages of these websites by adopting the Group Work Strategy. The training aimed at qualifying the seniors to be experienced translators and preparing them to the translation market.

The training of competent translator is regarded as a significant part of the Translation Department`s mission having been launched since the establishment of the department. And Cihan University Erbil is considered as a leading university in qualifying and facilities.
