Department Of Accounting Organizes a Field Trip to the First Property Registration Directorate in Erbil

On Monday, January 19, 2026, the Department of Accounting at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific visit to the First Property Registration Directorate in Erbil for a group of Second-stage students, under the supervision of Lecturer Rebin Bilal Mohammed.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Muhannad Mohammed, the Administration Manager of the Directorate, who provided an overview of its administrative structure and emphasized its vital role in property registration and documentation. He highlighted the importance of accurate record-keeping, coordinated workflows, and adherence to legal procedures to ensure transparency in property ownership processes.

The visit continued with a presentation by Mr. Dlshad Nader Rasul, the Accountanting Manager, who explained the practical accounting procedures within the Directorate, including the recording of registration fees, management of government revenues, and internal control mechanisms. Students had the opportunity to review real administrative and financial documents, observe accounting practices in action, and ask questions related to public sector accounting and property registration, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
