Exploring Cihan School: An Educational Journey by the Students of English Department

On the 6th of November, 2023, a group of second-year students from the Department of English Language, Cihan University-Erbil, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Huda Yaseen, embarked on a visit to Cihan School.

     Upon the arrival, Cihan University-Erbil students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Mahmood Imad, the school’s principal, who graciously allowed the students of English Department to immerse themselves in the school’s vibrant atmosphere. Some students joined a third-grade class, while others were immersed in the ninth-grade environment. This dynamic exposure to different grade levels offered a unique perspective on the education system.

     This field trip proved to be highly beneficial for the students of English Department. It not only expanded their horizons but also provided insights into innovative teaching methods implemented in the classrooms. English Department students were encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and explore the learning environment at Cihan School.
