In another global ranking, Cihan University-Erbil is the leading university

In the updated list of universities ranking, published by (SCImago Institute) for Scientific Research in 2022, Cihan University- Erbil is the leading private university in the Kurdistan Region.

(The SCImago Institute ) known as SIR,  is the main base in Spain, ranks the world’s universities annually according to some scientific criteria. Compared to previous years, this year, Cihan university has a significant increase in the level of universities in the world, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region. Cihan University Erbil ranks second at the level of private universities in the Kurdistan Region.According to the world rankings, Cihan University Erbil ranks (784) and ranked (36) in Iraq.

Cihan University-Erbil is constantly improving year by year, recording new records in the annual global and national rankings for universities, according to the SCImago Institute list, which is based twice a year. According to these criteria, Cihan University-Erbil was able to continue its work and record other scientific achievements for teachers and students.
