Inspection Tour by the students of Nutrition and Dietetics Department to check the quality of restaurants and coffee shops

On Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, under the supervision of Dr. Abdul-Sattar Karim Saeed, the head of the Health and Safety Committee and Dr. Salih Zebari as a member of the committee, a group of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, Cihan University-Erbil started a weekly inspection tour to the restaurants and coffee shops on the university campus.

     The students were checking the personal hygiene for the workers, the places and the tools that are used for preparation the food. They also checked the storage condition, the products and their expiry dates. The students were trying to follow the health guideline of the directory.

     The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics has always attempted to organize activities which focus on practical training to connect the students’ knowledge with labor markets.
