International Relations and Diplomacy Department Students Visit the Protocol Department

On Thursday, February 13, 2025, students from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at Cihan University-Erbil visited the Protocol Department in the Kurdistan Regional Parliament as part of their practical training on diplomatic protocol rules.

They were received by Mr. Dildar Aziz, the Protocol Affairs Officer, along with several staff members who accompanied them to the meeting rooms. There, they received a comprehensive explanation of the diplomatic protocol principles followed in those rooms, as well as the organization and preparation of meetings according to established diplomatic rules.

The students also visited the Parliament Library, where they were received by Mr. Mohammed Piran, the library director. He introduced them to the most important books, translations, and volumes in the library, as well as the methods used to organize and classify them. Mr. Mohammed Piran also helped the students identify key references and literature that would support their academic studies and future diplomatic work, emphasizing the possibility of collaboration with Cihan University-Erbil students to provide them with scientific resources and references aligned with their academic pursuits.
