Media Department Students Conduct a Scientific Visit to the Youth Hub in Erbil

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, a group of second- and third-stage students from the Media Department at Cihan University-Erbil, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Jamal Hama Karim, conducted a scientific field trip to the Youth Hub in Erbil. This center is considered one of the largest and most advanced youth facilities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

At the beginning of the visit, Mr. Ali Omar, the Operations Director of the Youth Hub, received the students and expressed his pleasure at hosting the Media Department from Cihan University-Erbil. He then guided the students through the center’s various departments and services. During the tour, the students explored several key facilities, including dedicated dialogue and discussion rooms, gallery and exhibition spaces, training rooms, a podcast studio, a computer lab, a conference hall, and the center’s extensive and unique library.

Later in the visit, the Operations Director provided a comprehensive overview of the services and opportunities offered by the center. He emphasized that the Youth Hub serves as an inclusive environment that fosters creativity and innovation while providing opportunities for learning and professional networking. The Media Department students actively participated in discussions and asked questions to better understand how they could benefit from these services to enhance their professional skills.

At the ends of the visit, the supervising lecturer thanked Mr. Ali Omar for his warm reception and his efforts in introducing the students to this important facility, as well as for his commitment to future support and collaboration.
