Medical Laboratory Science Department Students: A Scientific Trip to King Medical Laboratory

As a continuation of the activities of the Medical Laboratory Science Department of Cihan University – Erbil to be closely aware of how to work in the laboratories and how to deal with the laboratory environment, Head of the aforementioned department continues its field activities.

For this purpose, second-grade students under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Mr. Ribin Salah Ali, visited King Medical private laboratory in Erbil.

During the visit, the laboratory supervisors explained to the students in detail about their working methods and the tests they perform, especially blood tests, virus tests, bacterial tests, chemical tests, and genetic tests.

The students were also introduced to the different equipment used in the laboratories to diagnose diseases and how to deal with patients.

At the end of the trip, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science and King Medical Laboratory decided to start a number of joint activities in the future to serve students and citizens.
