One of the professors of Cihan University-Erbil arrived in Poland in the frame of the Erasmus Plus program
In the continuation of joint work for the exchange and scientific training of Cihan University-Erbil with international institutions, Cihan University Erbil has been able to obtain a course for four students and a science training for a teacher in Poland.
In this context, in the past few days, assistant professor Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa, the head of The Medical Microbiology Department, arrived in Poland on Monday (13/6/2022) at Warsaw University for Life Sciences with Ewelina Belkiewicz, the vice president of the International Relations office, held a meeting to discuss the program and how to stay in the country, particularly how to offer lessons to bachelor’s students. Master’s and Doctorate degrees are studied within the framework of the Erasmus Plus program.
In another topic of discussion, they discussed the situation of students at Cihan University Erbil, who have run a course at the university, and importantly discussed how to expand and strengthen scientific relations between the two universities.
At another visiting station, assistant professor Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa held a meeting with all four students at Cihan University Erbil. During their study experience and stay at the university, they thanked the President of Cihan University Erbil for providing this valuable opportunity and described it as a medium-term experience of life and education.
Later, assistant professor Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa visited the university’s library, several science laboratories, and science departments. She was closely familiar with the university’s study environment.
Assistant Professor Amina Sabah Mahmood Jumaa, head of the Medical Microbiology Department at Cihan University- Erbil, is scheduled to attend Warsaw University for a week, during this time she will teach bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students at the university within the framework of the Erasmus Plus program.
Cihan University-Erbil is the only private and leading university in Kurdistan Region, which is fully registered with the European Commission and has an ID number, pic = 907654415.
This registration allows Cihan University-Erbil to present and obtain these grants as it can be done within the framework of European Union scientific projects, including universities in common countries and higher education institutions including Warsaw University for Life sciences in Poland, Ondokuz University, and Mardin University in Turkey.
In the academic year 2021-2022, Cihan University Erbil, previously warned all university students in a statement that it had announced some courses to complete a course at Warsaw University for Life Sciences, particularly at medical, science, and technical colleges. As a result, four students were nominated, including Ranj Shakir Mahmud and Muhand Qais Abdullah in the department of architecture engineers and students Bashari Jamal Abdullah and Ahmed Luqman Karim in the biomedical department. The appointment of the students was based on some criteria set by Erasmus Plus and Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Poland.
