Organizing a Scientific visit for the Students of Nutrition Department to Karawanchi group company

Within the framework of continuous support for Nutrition Department, the Presidency of Cihan University – Erbil. On Monday, 25/11/2019, a scientific visit was organized for second and third stages of Nutrition Department students to Karawanchi company – in  AltonKobri – Kirkuk,  where the production lines and process for ( mineral water, juices and soft drinks).

All the details and explanations were provided on manufacturing process and the importance of quality control and food safety requirements, which must be monitored and evaluated by team work in company Laboratories by implementation of tests at all stages of manufacturing process. This was practical application of the theoretical information which received by students in lecture halls and illustrates the nature of working life in production companies and labor market sectors in future.The students were accompanied by Dr. Yassin Mamand and Dr. Qais Abdullah, faculty members in Nutrition Department.
