To support the students’ activities, the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy organized a scientific seminar for a second year student, Heidi Ghossa Muhammad, on the topic ‘Terrorism … the concept, causes and remedies’ on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
The activity was held in the virtual courtroom under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Mahmoud Ismail Mohamed and Assistant Lecturer Rashid Michael Mohamed.
Due to the high importance of terrorism in the field of international relations and its impact on the national security of societies and the stability of states, the student had chosen the subject. This topic also falls within the topics related to the security dimensions in the department’s curricula.
A considerable number of students of the department attended the seminar, and they participated by asking questions, interventions and additions to the topic of the seminar.
