Preparing Pharmaceutical Formulations and Industry of Cosmetics Workshop

On Monday, 11 December 2023, the Department of Biomedical Sciences, and in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy at Cihan University-Erbil, organized a workshop titled ‘Preparing Pharmaceutical Formulations and Industry of Cosmetics’. This workshop involved both theoretical and practical sessions.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Muntadhar Alrabeeh, an experienced researcher and lecturer in the field of Cosmetology. The workshop was informative in that it began with in-depth explanations of the pharmaceutical formulations and cosmetic industry provided by Dr. Muntadhar in the VIP Hall. This was followed by the practical session held in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Lab.

Both sessions were attended by the Heads of the Departments, academic staff, and students from various programs. During the practical session, the participants had the opportunity to see how soaps and creams were produced step-by-step.

All participants gained knowledge from this interesting workshop and hands-on training.
