Esteemed Lecturers and Researchers,

Valued Staff and Students,

As you are aware, the latest citation rankings by Web of Science (WoS: Clarivate Analytics) for universities worldwide, spanning from 2019 to 2023, was released on Friday, May 31, 2024. I am delighted to report that our university has once again secured the top position among all private universities in both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. This accomplishment is noteworthy alongside several other achievements outlined in the rankings. Furthermore, despite maintaining our university’s leading status, it is noteworthy that there has been a significant increase in the number of WoS-indexed documents and citations compared to previous rankings. This remarkable achievement is attributed to the dedication and expertise of our university staff, who rightfully take pride in this success.

In this regard, I would like to congratulate all lecturers, researchers, and staff members committed to advancing the university’s progress, enhancing the academic proficiency of our students, and fostering societal development.

Congratulations once more, and may the path ahead in your scientific career become even more illuminated.
