Radiological Imaging Technologies Students Deliver Health Awareness Lecture at Cihan Private School

As part of the scientific and social activities of Cihan University – Erbil, a group of first-year students from the Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies delivered an awareness lecture to fifth-grade primary students at Cihan Private School on Wednesday, 11 February 2026. The lecture aimed to enhance health awareness and instill healthy habits among children.

The lecture covered several important health practices that children should learn at an early age, presented in a simplified manner appropriate to their age group. The students distributed educational brochures designed to stimulate children’s thinking and encourage them to adopt positive health behaviors in their daily lives. The activity also included interactive educational games that conveyed health messages in an enjoyable and motivating way.

This initiative was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Omar Adel, Head of the Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies, in coordination with Mr. Mahmoud Emad Mohammed, Principal of Cihan Private School. The event reflected constructive cooperation between the university and educational institutions while reinforcing the role of university students in community service.
