Students from Cihan University-Erbil in Poland Visit Kurdistan Regional Government Representation
Students hailing from various departments, such as Architectural Engineering, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Microbiology, and Biomedical Studies, at Cihan University-Erbil, currently pursuing their studies in Poland, took time from their academic commitments to pay a visit to the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in the host country.
On the 28th of October 2023, students from Cihan University-Erbil had the opportunity to meet with Ziad Rauf, the Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Warsaw. During the meeting, after extending a warm welcome to the students in Poland, the Kurdistan Regional Government Representative commended the students’ exceptional abilities and skills, which enabled them to seize this unique educational opportunity in Poland. He expressed his hopes that during their time abroad and throughout their academic journey, they would not only enhance their scientific knowledge within their respective fields but also endeavor to establish a meaningful intellectual connection between the Kurdistan Region and Poland, particularly among students.
In another part of the meeting, students from Cihan University-Erbil and the Kurdistan Regional Government Representative in Poland engaged in discussions covering various common interests and concerns. Ziad Rauf, the Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government, reiterated the government’s unwavering support.
Five students from Cihan University-Erbil had arrived in Warsaw on the 12th of October 2023, and they are presently enrolled at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGGW, Poland. participating of these five students is a part of a collaborative effort between Cihan University-Erbil and international institutions, aimed at fostering the exchange of students, sharing scientific knowledge, and providing holistic training to enhance their scientific aptitude in the fields of biomedical, microbiological, medical studies, architectural engineering, and nutrition and dietetics.
