Students from the Public Administration and Business Administration Departments Conduct a Scientific Visit to Aman Company

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, second- and third-year students from the Public Administration and Business Administration departments at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a scientific visit to Aman Company. The trip was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Mr. Hussein Mustafa, Admin and Finance Manager; Ms. Maawa Smko, Health  Insurance Manager; and Ms. Shahira Ako, Marketing Manager.

During the visit, Mr. Hussein Mustafa delivered a concise and informative presentation about Aman Company, emphasizing its role in providing comprehensive insurance services. He explained how the company protects individuals, families, and businesses through various insurance solutions. He also introduced Aman as one of the leading and most well-established insurance companies in the Kurdistan Region. Mr. Hussein outlined the six main types of insurance offered by the company: health, motor, property, cargo, engineering, and accident insurance. Additionally, he noted that Aman uses Odoo, a professional enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, to manage and streamline its operations efficiently.

Later, Ms. Maawa Smko delivered a presentation on health insurance. She explained that the company offers two main types of health insurance: corporate insurance for employees and individual health insurance purchased directly by clients.

Finally, Ms. Shahira Ako discussed the company’s marketing strategies. She explained that Aman uses diverse marketing approaches due to the relatively new concept of insurance in the Kurdistan Region. She emphasized that the company conducts its marketing activities through on-ground events, digital marketing, and television commercials to raise public awareness and promote insurance services.
