Students of Cihan University-Erbil Conduct Scientific Activities at the University of Lodz in Poland
Completing their courses at the University of Lodz in Poland, students of Cihan University-Erbil carry out various scientific activities.
Raya Amir Abdul Jabbar and Sidra Nihad Ishaq Issa, the third-year students of the Department of Business Administration of Cihan University-Erbil, presented a paper on designing a new product in the market. Under the guidance of Prof. W. Popczyk, they discussed different aspects and requirements of the project. On the other hand, the students presented an article online about the most important bases and strategies of Kurdistan and Iraq, mentioning some people and strategic projects that have been successful in that regard. That presentation was led by Prof. V. Yakubiv. Similarly, these students delivered a presentation about the principles of business ethics. Being supervised by Prof. C. Miralles, they cited the phenomenon of child labor in modern society which is against the fundamentals of business ethics.
Furthermore, the students recently visited Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, and several historic and cultural sites including the Palace of Culture and Science, a prominent building with a height of 237 meters, located in the center of Warsaw. It is the second tallest building (after the Varso Tower). Later, the students headed to the King John III Palace Museum founded in 1805. It is one of the oldest museums in Poland.
