The Computer Science Department arranged a scientific visit to the General Directorate of Commercial Banks – Technology (IT).

An academic visit to the General Directorate of Commercial Banks – Technology (IT) was arranged by the Computer Science Department at Cihan University-Erbil and took place on Thursday, October 26, managed by the Integrated Computerized Banking System (ICBS) project manager, Mr. Idris Muhammad Hussein Raouf.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Laith Razouki Fileh from the Department of Computer Science led second-level students during this tour. The head of the Network Department, Mr. Karwan Dilshad Ibrahim, gave the students an extensive overview of the Integrated Electronic Banking System’s (ICBS) functionality. The explanation included the importance of the system, network security, and valuable insights.

The students acknowledged the visit’s scientific worth and described it as a great chance to learn about the practical applications of technology in the banking and financial industry. They stated their belief that they will greatly benefit from this experience in their future jobs.
