THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCINCE VISITED CIHAN UNIVERSITY- ERBIL LIBRARY TO FIND A SCIENTIFIC RESOURCES

The Department of Computer Science consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Reem Jaafar Ismail and a group of third-year students who went to the Cihan University library. On this day, Assistant Professor Dr. Reem Jaafar Ismail organized two motivating activities related to the ‘library’ for these students.

The first activity was a visit to the university library. Assistant Professor Dr. Reem Jaafar Ismail providing an in-depth explanation about finding the best and most appropriate sources for writing a scientific paper.

           The second activity was the students were exposed to the ways to borrow, return, and renew books. The students were also informed on relevant resources related to computer science and ways to use google search engine and download the most recent research from the internet related to computer science and create a research gate account by their university email to keep updated.

         This visit ended with the students showing their interest and their willingness to increase their knowledge by reading more references and books that are available in the university library.
