The department of Media conducted a practical course for the department’s students

Cihan University-Erbil’s Media Department organized a practical course for some students to benefit from the experience of other institutions and familiarize them with the working environment.

During the four-day course (20-23/2/2023), 25 students from different stages attended the Cihan University Erbil Academy Hall. At the Arab League’s Media Training Institute in Erbil, Riyadh al-Adli, a television presenter coach, and Alaala al-Juburi, a voice and presentation expert, trained students practically.

During the course’s days of conduct, students were followed by tv acquaintances, then trained in this field (how to deal with direct reading and recording surrounding sounds, language safety and expression, and the role of a telephone presenter. On-screen content, presentation, appearance, breaking barriers to fear and skill and standing in front of the camera, expertise in dialogue and impartiality in questioning, controlling the body language and dealing with events, contacting the program presenter and news anchor with Teamwork.

The course provided students with good opportunities to take advantage of their expert experience alongside different university studies to formulate their future work plans and how to overcome obstacles and obstacles.
Finally, assistant lecturer Abir Mahmud, head of the Media department at Cihan University Erbil, thanked the coaches and the Arab League’s Media Training Institute for Electronic Media in Erbil for their cooperation with the media department. As he emphasized the importance of this kind of cooperation and cooperation in developing students and skillful media for the future, she also congratulated the participating students and hoped that this course would be a good opportunity to deal closely with the media, which they want to work on in the future.
