The Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis A Scientific Visited to PAR Hospital in Erbil City

On 08 December 2022, the third-year students from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis of Cihan University-Erbil conducted a scientific visit to PAR Hospital in Erbil City.

The objective of this scientific visit was to expose the students to the latest techniques employed in the Biochemistry, Histopathology, Microbiology, Serology, and Phlebotomy Units.

It is worth mentioning that the medical staff at that hospital explained and clarified all the procedures used in the laboratories that are relevant to the student’s education. In each lab section, they made short presentations about the department, equipment, devices, and the tests done by them. They were happily answering any questions posed by the students.

The visit lasted for about 2 hours. The students were very pleased to have such an opportunity to see the scientific work of their specialty and they look forward to the future ahead of them.
