THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY ORGANIZED POSTER PRESENTATIONS INVOLVING ITS FIRST- STAGE STUDENTS

first-stage students, consisting of 11 groups, from the Medical Microbiology Department of Cihan University-Erbil delivered their poster presentations as part of their General English course taught by their instructor, Assistant Lecturer Marwa Mahmood in the current semester. This activity began with the Opening Ceremony by Assistant Professor Dr. Ameena Sabah Mahmood Juma, Head of the Medical Microbiology Department.

This assessment-based activity was conducted half-day in the morning and afternoon session in the department hall.  This activity aimed to encourage students to present their understanding of the medical topics orally, other than to having students deliver and practice speaking English language outside of the classroom.

On this day, the students presented their poster confidently and received positive feedback from the lectures who assessed their performances. Lecturers were invited from different departments in the University to assess the performance of the students.
