The Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences had Supervised a Futsal Training Course in Bahrain

A training course for futsal was conducted in the Bahrain capital of Manama, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Wameed Shamil Kamil from Cihan University-Erbil in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The course took place from September 30, 2023, to October 5, 2023.

The course was organized based on the plan formulated by the Futsal Committee, which aimed to conduct intensive training courses for the development of futsal professionals in Bahrain. The Asian Federation was also enthusiastic about hosting this tournament, the first of its kind, with the goal of familiarizing coaches with the recent developments in this sport.

The course comprised practical lessons focused on the organization of training units for players, along with theoretical lessons that had a significant impact on the development of the coach’s thinking.

It is noteworthy that 17 participants completed the course and received the Level 1 certificate in futsal training.
