workshop Culture and Language Learning

With the attendance of Dr. Imad Rifaat the head of English and Translation departments and  staff members of the two departments ,assistant lecturer Ziyad Mohammed   from the Department of Translation held a workshop entitled `Culture and Language Learning`  on Thursday,3 rd of December,2016.

The workshop included the influence of culture on EFL learners` performance and the methodology most suitable to convey and teach different skills of the language, also tackled different definitions of culture as stated by many linguists in addition to many examples illustrating various usages.
