A visit to Kurdistan Standardization and Quality Control Authority

On 23/02/2020, third stage students of Nutrition department of CihanUniversity-Erbil visited Kurdistan Standardization and Quality Control Authority under supervision of Mr. YaseenMammand Omar Galali.

The students and their supervisor were warmly welcomed by MrRebin Rashad and MrRedar Muhammad, authorities of the institute. At the beginning, the students were introduced to the principles, missions and responsibilities of institute and how food stuffs are imported under Iraqi regulations and standards and the governmental procedures to accept or refuse interring goods. Then, they visited the library which is designed particularly to the Iraqi standards for food stuffs. During the meeting it was also agreed that future collaboration between the institute and Nutrition department is important and will be worked on.
