Cihan University-Erbil celebrated its 14th Graduation Ceremony, conferring bachelor’s degrees to 839 students.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University- Erbil, emphasized the institution’s dedication to advancing the knowledge and skills of its students. He announced plans to expand international academic opportunities, stating, “At the beginning of next year, we will send new groups of students to universities in Sharjah and Ajman in the United Arab Emirates, as well as to universities in Poland, to pursue further studies.”

The 14th graduation ceremony of Cihan University-Erbil commenced on Tuesday evening, December 3, 2024, with an address by Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil. The event, held with great fanfare, was attended by prominent figures including Abdullah Haji Mahmoud, Minister of Martyrs and Anfal Affairs; Dr. Bland Dizaei, Director General of Engineering and Projects and a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Omid Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; several university presidents, distinguished guests, members of the Board of Trustees, and the families of the graduates.

Cihan University-Erbil also achieved the 251st position globally.

Dr. Al-Delawi also detailed initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ educational experiences. He noted that Cihan University-Erbil has sent 50 to 75 students from various specializations to international universities, particularly in Poland, for advanced study programs. Additionally, the university is investing in state-of-the-art scientific laboratories and organizing international workshops and conferences across multiple disciplines.
