Cihan University-Erbil is actively expanding its collaborative efforts with the Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialties
Aiming to enhance the academic and scientific partnerships between Cihan University-Erbil and the Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialties, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, paid a visit to the Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialties, where he engaged in discussions with the Council’s President to foster greater coordination.
On the 10th of October 2023, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, was graciously received by Prof Dr. Ariana Khalis Al-Barzanji, president of Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialists. Professor Dr. Amjad commenced the meeting by expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception and proceeded to provide a brief overview of Cihan University-Erbil. He highlighted the university’s remarkable scientific accomplishments and its various medical departments. Emphasizing the pivotal importance of coordination between their institutions Prof. Dr. Amjad S. Al-Delawi conveyed Cihan University-Erbil’s willingness to collaborate in several areas, including the exchange of scientific staff, faculty members, joint conferences, and the utilization of university laboratories. He expressed his hope that the Kurdistan Higher Council for Medical Specialties would join hands with Cihan University-Erbil in advancing the field of medical sciences and departments.
During the meeting, Prof Dr. Ariana Khalis Al-Barzanji, president of Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialists, conveyed her delight at the visit and underscored the pressing need for enhanced coordination between the two entities, encompassing not only the broader academic and scientific realms but, more specifically, the field of medical specialties. Both parties presented a range of perspectives to fortify these relations, with the common aim of furthering the cause of science and education in diverse academic centers.
