Cihan University-Erbil Students Conducted a Seminar on Artificial Intelligence at High School

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the English Department students from Cihan University -Erbil presented an insightful seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at High School. The event aimed to highlight how AI can be leveraged to enhance English language learning. The seminar, supervised by A.L. Huda Shwan, and hosted by Ms. Hassiba Hassan, the principal of the school, began with an overview of AI and its potential applications in language education.

During the session, the students were introduced to various free AI tools designed to improve their English language skills, such as pronunciation aids, vocabulary-building apps, and interactive language practice platforms. The hands-on demonstrations provided the participants with opportunities to explore these tools and understand their practical benefits. The interactive nature of the session allowed the attendees to engage deeply with the seminar content and learn innovative ways to use AI for language learning.

Before the end of the seminar, the school students asked questions and discussed many aspects of AI. The event concluded with the attendees showing great interest in integrating AI into their language studies, marking the session as a successful step toward incorporating technology and education.
