“The Political Reformation in Iraq” A Workshop at Department of International Relations
Department of International and Diplomatic Relations held a workshop early last month entitled “Political Reformation in Iraq:
(The Demands of the Masses and the Next Government”.
At the opening of the workshop, the head of international Relations Department Assistant lecturer Mr. Amanj Ali, started the activity with a speech in which he stressed the importance of this workshop, especially through the circumstances that Iraq is undergoing now. He also emphasized the role of academic institutions in providing solutions for the problems which the community is facing.
After that, the first session of the workshop had been initiated by a presentation of a topic entitled “The Reformation Concept and the Political Reformation” by Lecturer Dr. Inas Dhya’a. Then Lecturer Dr. Nadheer Mahmoud presented a topic holds the title of “The Characteristics of the Political system in Iraq”. Lastly, Lecturer Dr. Mu’taz Al-Najm has presented his topic entitled “Analysis of Popular Demands after ,2019”.
A short break later, the second session had beens tarted by Lecturer Dr. Muhannad Abd Rashid with a presentation entitled “The Regional Dimension and its impact on the Masses Movement after October the 1st 2019”. This topic had been followed by Professor Dr. Khalil Ibrahim with his study “The International Dimension and Its Impact on the Masses Movement” after October the 1st, 2019”.Assistant prof.Dr. Ra’ad Qassem has reviewed a topic under the title “The Next Iraqi Government and Its Vision to Meet the People’s Demands”.
Through their many questions and comments, the participants enriched this workshop sessions with their questions and comments. Finally, a set of recommendations and suggestions were presented.
