Interior Design Department Organized a Scientific Visit to the Erbil Citadel

The Interior Design Department at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit to the Erbil Citadel for its fourth-year students on Monday, 7/10/2024. The objective of the visit was to increase students’ knowledge of the housing reconstruction process in the citadel’s residential areas.

During the visit, the students were accompanied by Assistant Lecturer Aws Ahmed and Supervising Project Engineer Ahmed. The students visited the Erbil Citadel’s Information Center and some residential areas: Saleh Jalabi, Jamil Effendi, and Rashid Agha.

They learned about the detailed elements of the houses there and documented them, to redesign them in a manner that conforms to the international reconstruction regulations.
