Scientific Visit of Nutrition and Dietetics Students to Dlba Factory

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, the Nutrition and Dietetics Department of Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit for third-year students, led by Dr. Salih Mustafa, to Dlba Dairy Company in Erbil.

The primary purpose of this visit was to familiarize students with the production of various dairy products manufactured by the company. During the trip, the students explored different departments of the factory.

First, the staff provided an introduction to health and safety protocols for the students. Following this, the students learned about product development and sensory evaluation throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to market distribution.

Dlba dairy products are among the most recognized brands in Iraq, making this visit a valuable opportunity for students to gain insight into such facilities.
