The College of Pharmacy Organized a Visit to the International Health Exhibition Medico in Erbil

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, a group of staff members and students from the College of Pharmacy at Cihan University-Erbil visited the Medico International Health Exhibition in Erbil, under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Aiden, the college dean.

The staff consisted of Assistant Professor Sharad Fisht, Assistant Lecturer Hawta Salam, Assistant Lecturer Ibrahim Hashim, and Laboratory Assistant Mamle Hama Abdullah.

During the visit, the staff visited the governmental institution of the Kurdistan Medicines Quality Control Authority (KMCA), where specialized staff in quality control provided comprehensive information regarding the procedures for the Kurdistan Regional Government to enhance the quality of medicines at Kurdistan’s pharmacies.

Additionally, they later visited a private company Kawkab Group, where the methods of storing medicines and transporting them between the company warehouses and then to pharmacies were explained, along with several insightful discussions between the students and active participation from many attendees.
