THE DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS SCIENCES ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC TRIP TO THE FORESTS OF SHIRA SIWAR

On Tuesday, May, 9, 2023 the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences organized a scientific trip to the forests of Shira Siwar for first and third stages, under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer Dana Abdel-Baqi and the Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Saeed.

During this scientific trip a scout camp lasts eight hours, in which students are trained in and out of work. In addition to that the students are trained in how to organize a scout camp, how to manage the environment and maintain it. Moreover, pedagogical qualities and some scouting techniques that distinguish scout leaders. The camp included a flag-raising ceremony and a tent-raising ceremony that fostered the ability to trust oneself, take responsibility, and serve others.
