The Palestine Consulate was visited by students from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy

Under the guidance of Assistant Lecturer Rashid Mikaiel, the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy students visited the Palestine Consulate on Monday 16/10.2023.

Mr. Nazmi Hazouri, the Consul of Palestine, also greeted them and stressed the intellectual and cultural ties between Palestine and Kurdistan. The Palestine Consul emphasized the historical ties between Kurdistan and Palestine. He also touched on Salah ad-Din Ayyubi’s contribution to the conquest of Quds and his valor in doing so. He then focused on international affairs and diplomacy.

Assistant lecturer Rashid Mikaiel sent his condolences for the state of affairs in Palestine after their tour. He concluded by thanking the consul for the students’ excellent leadership and cordial welcome.
