Cihan University-Erbil Shows a Significant Rank in the InCites – Web of Science (WoS) Publication Citations Report 2017-2021

In June 2022, InCites of WoS included new Universities from Iraq in its publication citations report for the periods 2017-2021.

The report shows a significant rank for Cihan University-Erbil. According to the report, Cihan University-Erbil has achieved the 1st rank among the private universities in Kurdistan-Iraq and the 4th rank among the public universities. The University has achieved 3811 WoS-based citations with 258 published WoS-indexed research articles. Cihan University-Erbil has outperformed many public universities in the region and Iraq.

Moreover, Cihan University-Erbil has achieved 1% top 6 cited papers in the 27 recognized fields plus 3 Hot papers (0.1%). The report reveals the successful and fruitful strategy of the University’s administration towards supporting scientific research and the scientific community.
