Department of General Education students visited Collin’s College

On May 9, 2023, a group of second-stage students from the Department of General Education visited Collin’s College, under the supervision of the head of the department Dr. Ahmed Abd Aoun and Assistant Lecturer Shwana Qadir Perot.

Upon arrival, they were welcomed by Dr Khalil Salih Hasan and the teaching staff of the college. Dr. Khalil then delivered a seminar on effective language acquisition and improvement techniques, during which students exchanged ideas and asked questions about both new and standard techniques for improving English language skills. After the seminar, the students embarked on a tour of the college’s classrooms.

Finally, Dr. Ahmed expressed gratitude to the college’s management and teaching staff for their warm welcome and the time they dedicated to the visit. The primary aim of the visit was to introduce the students to a range of pedagogical approaches to learning.
