Science, Culture, and Arts Festival: The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Complimented Cihan University-Erbil on Its Excellent Work and Projects
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, a large-scale Science, Culture, and Arts Festival was organized by Cihan University-Erbil with the participation of a large number of students and guests. Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, launched the festival’s opening ceremony in the presence of Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajger, Head of the Board of Trustees of Cihan University, and all university staff and faculty members.
Students from different departments showcased their academic projects, cultural activities, and artistic creations during the festival. Many guests, including university presidents and lecturers, visited this festival and were amazed at the students’ talents and efforts.
In his speech, Minister Dr. Aram complimented the students’ activities. According to him, such a festival is very important, as it enables students to showcase their skills and creativity in different areas. During the festival, he visited each department’s booth and spoke with students about their projects. His statements to the media:
“I am pleased to visit Cihan University-Erbil today and attend this annual festival. The University has made significant achievements in many fields. Their work and activities are impressive. I saw many scientific and creative ideas that could help solve future global challenges. This event indicates that we are moving forward in the right direction. I am proud of the University as well as its students. We will continue to support Cihan University-Erbil, especially in master’s and doctoral programs. Our goal is to prepare the next generation to face future problems in the best way.”
Additionally, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delawi said that Cihan University-Erbil is proud of its students and the exceptional quality of their work. He added that the University is always ready and pleased to support students’ learning and research activities and would like them to pursue further studies upon the completion of their bachelor’s degree.
In addition to the exhibitions, the festival featured students from various health and medical departments who provided healthy living tips and performed numerous health check-ups for university staff, faculty members, students, and visitors.
