During the Opening of the Scientific, Cultural, and Artistic Festival, Minister of Higher Education Praises the Work and Projects of Cihan University-Erbil
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Cihan University-Erbil held a large scientific, cultural, and artistic festival with the participation of many students and guests. Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research opened the festival. Also present were Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delo, President of Cihan University-Erbil, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajger, Head of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, and several university staff and faculty members.
During the event, students from different departments displayed their academic projects, cultural work, and artistic creations. Many guests, including university presidents and lecturers, visited the festival and observed the talents and efforts of the students. In his speech, Minister Dr. Aram praised the students’ activities and said that festivals like this are very important. He said they help show the skills and creativity of the students in different areas. The minister also walked around the festival, spoke with students, and learned more about their projects.
Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delo, the university president, also spoke at the event. He said that Cihan University-Erbil is proud of its students and the high level of their work. He added that the university is always ready to support students in their learning and research, and wants them to reach the highest academic levels.Later, the Minister gave a statement to the media. He said:
“I am happy to visit Cihan University-Erbil today and attend their annual festival. It is clear that the university has achieved great results in many fields. Their work and activities are impressive. I saw many scientific and creative ideas that could help solve global challenges in the future. Events like this show us that we are moving in the right direction. I am proud of the students and the university. We will continue to support Cihan University-Erbil, especially in master and doctoral programs. Our goal is to prepare the next generations to face future problems in the best way.”
In addition to the exhibitions, students from the health and medical departments also offered health tips and services to visitors. They gave advice on healthy living and performed basic health checks for students, professors, and other guests.
