Participation in an International Scientific Symposium

The Department of General Education at Cihan University – Erbil, represented by Dr. Ahmed Abd Aoun, Head of the Department, participated in the International Scientific Symposium held by the “QEAAS” organization, which was entitled in “International standards for the accreditation of educational colleges and their specialized programs and the possibility of their application in Arab universities” through the (ZOOM) platform on Saturday 01/16/2021. During the symposium, the most important international experiences for measuring the outputs of Faculties of Education were reviewed in the world. As well as, the standards for their application to colleges of education in Iraq and updating those standards taking into consideration the developments in education over the world, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
