Physical Therapy Department Team Won the University Football Championship League Title

On Monday, February 24, 2025, the last match of the mini-football championship between the scientific departments of Cihan University-Erbil was held under the supervision of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

It took place at Cihan University-Erbil Stadium in the presence of Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalo, President of Cihan University-Erbil, Assistant Professor Abdul Sattar Karim, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Assistant Professor Ayad Yahya, Vice President for Scientific Affairs.

In the match where the Community Health Nursing Department team played against the Physical Therapy Department team, the match ended in a draw between the two teams. After this exciting match proceeded to penalty kicks, the Physical Therapy Department team won by three goals to two.

It is worth mentioning that the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University – Erbil, under the supervision of the President of Cihan University – Erbil, annually organizes various tournaments including mini-football tournaments for all kinds of sports for students from different scientific departments at the university.
