THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND DIPLOMACY CIHAN UNIVERSITY-ERBIL ORGANIZED A VISIT TO THE PARLIAMENT OF KURDISTAN REGION

 On 15 March 2022, the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy organized a scientific visit to the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region, which involved a group of students under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer Mr. Rashid Michael Muhammad.
Upon arriving at the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region, Assistant Lecturer Mr. Rashid Michael Muhammad and the students were warmly welcomed by the director of Parliament of Kurdistan Region. The director of Parliament of Kurdistan Region began by introducing the history of Kurdistan region parliament.

After that, the students met organizers of the library, he toured the parliament’s library to the students and provided all the information related to organizing the contents of the library. In addition to that, he also shared ways to obtain sources in the field of scientific research to the students.

On the other side of the visit, the students also visited the parliament meeting hall and got acquainted with the necessary information about the parliament sessions and the seating places allocated for members of parliament. The students also visited the foreign relations committee and got acquainted with the nature of the work of this committee responsible for following up the foreign relations of the region.

The visit ended with a thank you note by Assistant Lecturer Mr. Rashid Michael Muhammad to the director of parliament of Kurdistan region and organizers of the library for their support and information given during the visit to the students.
