Students from the Medical Microbiology Department Attended a Seminar at Mihrabani Private Hospital on Diagnostic Microbiology

Under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Faisal Farooq Sadeq, second-year students from the Medical Microbiology Department at Cihan University-Erbil attended the Medically Important Microorganisms and Diagnostic Techniques seminar on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

The seminar, held at Mihrabani Private Hospital in Erbil, was presented by Prof. Dr. Hemdad Hawez, a board member, director, and supervisor of the aforementioned hospital. During the seminar, he provided insights into the diagnosis of microorganisms in hospital laboratories and discussed techniques for patient sample collection. He later guided the students on a tour of the hospital laboratory, where he introduced them to various laboratory instruments, particularly those used for microbial diagnosis.

Dr. Faisal expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Hemdad for his warm reception and valuable contributions. He also emphasized the significance of the seminar, highlighting the useful knowledge and practical insights gained by the students.
