A Scientific Trip by the Medical Laboratory Science Department Students to King Medical Laboratory

As a continuation of the work and activities of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science of Cihan University – Erbil in order to be closely aware of how to work in the laboratories and deal with the laboratory environment, Head of the aforementioned department continues its field activities.

For this purpose, its first-grade students visited the private King Medical Laboratory in Erbil on May 7, 2023 (Sunday) under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Mr. Rebin Salah Ali.

During the visit, Dr. Raber Mohsen (Supervisor of the laboratory) explained in detail their working methods to the students and about the various tests they perform, especially blood test, virus test, bacterial test, chemical test, and genetic test.

During this visit, the students were introduced to the different equipment used in the laboratories for testing diseases, in addition to the working environment in the laboratory and how to deal with patients.
