AVIAR ORGANIZATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS HONORS LECTURERS AND STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

After the launch of several stages of the “Plant for the Future” campaign by the Business Administration Department, which resulted in the afforestation of large areas in the Rizgari district, several schools inside and outside the Erbil governorate participated.

Aviar Organization organized a ceremony to honor of a number of students and lecturers  of the department in Shanader Park on Sunday  May 21, 2023, in the presence of the Director of Services and Environmental Protection in Erbil, Eng. Zhiyar Jalal, and Eng. Rabin Ahmed, the Director of Parks Engineering in Erbil, and Mr. Aso Shakak, the Director of the Aviar Organization for Environmental Awareness, and from the Cihan University / Department of Business Administration side , Head of the Department, Dr. Hawkar Qassim Birdawod, and the Assistant Lecturer Bushra Ali.

The honoring ceremonies included many parts. The first part included a speech from each of the participants about the importance of youth participation and motivating and volunteering to protect the environment. This was followed by a discussion in which the students of the Business Administration Department and the participants expressed their views on how to protect the environment from pollution and increase afforestation areas to protect the environment, through which the responsible environmental authorities which was present held many discussions that ended with giving useful proposals to increase environmental awareness within the region.

The honoring ceremony was concluded by distributing certificates of appreciation signed by the Aviar Organization for Environmental Awareness, Erbil Parks Engineering, and the Environmental Protection and Services management in Erbil, through which the attendees praised the efforts of the participants in the “plant for the future” afforestation campaign.
