Department of Media Visited Kurdistan TV Channel

Within the framework of the strategy of the Media Department at Cihan University – Erbil, aimed at introducing students to the fieldwork environment, the Presidency of the Media Department organized a scientific visit for first-stage students to Kurdistan TV in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Arad Hassanzadeh.

The scientific visit took place on Sunday, 3/3/2024, and the students were initially received by Mrs. Haifa Khan, Head of Channel Relations. Later, Mr. Zardasht Ahmed, Head of the News Department, accompanied the students to visit the news studio. Dr. Falah, Head of the Arabic News Writing Department, explained the details of the studio, covering everything from recording news in the studio, using the camera, designing the background and video wall, to managing a TV news and writing news. He also provided a detailed explanation of news sources to the students.

In another part of their visit, Mr. Hayman, Director of News at Kurdistan TV, explained the work of the department to the students, providing necessary information about the impact of producing programs and news, and how to control the studio in the control room. In conclusion, the students visited the Communications Department and learned about the most prominent tasks carried out by this department.
