The Department of Accounting Organized a Scientific Trip to the Ministry of Finance and Economy in Erbil.

The Department of Accounting planned a scientific trip to the Ministry of Finance and Economy to familiarize fourth-grade students with the working systems at the ministry.

On Thursday, October 1, 2024, a group of fourth-year students from the Department of Accounting conducted a visit to the Ministry of Finance and Economy under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad Jalal.

They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Hemهn Shkur, the manager of the accounting department at the ministry. The students received a briefing about the ministry and all the departments within it, along with an explanation of the services they provide, such as financing government services, paying salaries for all ministries and government entities, and providing banking services.

Following this, the students visited the Budget, Online, and Warehouse rooms, where Mr. Hemهn Shkur explained how they prepare the payroll system and balance sheet.
