The Nutrition and Dietetics Department Students Visited the Potato Factory in Erbil
On Sunday, November 12th, 2023, the second-stage Nutrition and Dietetics Department students visited the potato factory ‘Beirut Erbil for Potato Production’ under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yaseen Galali.
During their visit, the students were familiarised with assessments and tests conducted on potato quality and chip products according to the Iraqi specifications and level of healthiness.
Such activities provide practical experiences for students studying food science alongside their nutrition studies, opening up numerous opportunities for them after graduation.
